The Process
My instructional design process is learner-centered, adaptive, technologically innovative, and accommodates learner and stakeholder needs. By using various instructional models such as ADDIE, SAM, Design Thinking, UX Design, and more, I craft effective instruction that fosters deeper understanding and higher retention rates among learners. I believe in harnessing the power of technology and artificial intelligence to personalize education and cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
My Approach
I begin by getting to know my stakeholders, subject matter experts, and learners. I conduct a needs analysis to understand the goals of the instruction and develop a user persona to empathize with my learners. Next, I start the design process through a combination of frameworks, such as ADDIE and Design Thinking. After collaborating with stakeholders and subject matter experts, I begin to iterate the instructional content and adapt to learners needs. Once the content has gone through multiple checks and balances, I begin the implementation and evaluation phase to ensure content accuracy and effectiveness.
My Philosophy
My philosophy as an instructional designer is a holistic approach that prioritizes the learner’s experience, fosters creativity, upholds ethical standards, and empowers stakeholders to deliver impactful and engaging learning experiences.
My Mission
My mission is to create accessible learning experiences where every learner is seen, represented, and accommodated. I strive to create holistic, inclusive, and innovative learning experiences.
