Game Design – Escaping Gagne
This is an instructional game design document that outlines a simulation-type game that both teaches and utilizes Robert Gagne’s Nine Levels of Instruction. It is designed for instructional design students who are ready to test their knowledge of Gagne’s Nine Levels of Instruction and apply it in an interactive game environment. Learners will be tasked with “escaping Gagne” by completing each instructional level.

In this short Microlearning, learners go through a brief review of the classification of prevention, as defined by the Institute of Medicine (IOM), then complete a formative assessment of the types of classifications.

I designed this template to help develop effective instructor-led training. This comprehensive document provides guidance and support for individuals facilitating a training session, workshop, or any other educational program. Utilizing this template allows the facilitator to deliver the content effectively, engage participants, and achieve the desired learning outcomes.
